New York State Fair held its 2016 Wine Competition on July 13. The Winery at Marjim Manor submitted six wines and won six medals.
Applegria , a blend of apple, peach and pear wine, won a gold medal.
Silver medals were awarded to Starlight, Pear Made in Heaven and Cordially Yours.
Peach for the Stars and Cordelia’s Desire received bronze medals.

Katapalooza received a Double Gold Medal, Best Fruit Wine at the 2014 New York State Fair Competition.
Awards were given to 330 commercial wines and spirits after judging that took place at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Professional judges from throughout the East Coast judged 43 entries to have earned the highest designation, double gold.
In addition to the High Honor for Marjim Manor, 7 other wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail received medals. |
